Magic is the adjective with which I would name what “Solo Guitarra” meant to me. “Con Permiso”, “Piel suave”, “Altolaguirre” and many others of the twelve songs included in this ECM record make me dive in a sincere journey towards the difficult simplicity of the guitar. Since then a large number of guitarists have asked me if I had scores of my songs, to which today I can say that this book is the answer.
I owe a debt of gratitude to my friend Hernán Navarro, who has had the patience and the necessary care so that this work is reflected in score and tablature so that everyone can play it. Truth is that nothing would make me happier.
